Hypnosis
Hypnosis has been around for over 4,000 years yet it is still very much misunderstood. There is nothing mystical or magical about it, even though it is still shrouded in misconceptions. Modern hypnosis is grounded in science and it can be used to treat a wide range of issues.
There are common misconceptions about hypnosis, such as the fact that a person will lose control and do things against their will, or tell secrets that they wouldn’t normally tell, or become stuck in the hypnotic state. None of these are true, and in fact during Hypnosis a person is even more focused and aware than they are during a normal waking state.
Simply put, Hypnosis is nothing more than a way of talking directly to your subconscious mind, which is the part of you where your memories of everything that has ever happened to you are, and where habits reside. Hypnosis works by changing deeply ingrained though processes that usually you are completely unaware of (much like changing the programming of a computer).
Hypnosis can help with a issues such as weight loss, stress management, smoking cessation, pain management, stage fright, fear, anxiety, unwanted habits, and much more.
